Prison Fellowship run many ministries and programs that focus on sharing the hope found in Christ to prisoners, their families and victims of crime.
They have an Op Shop in Mt Lawley that is run to raise money for their organisation and all proceeds go directly to their ministries. For this to be effective, they rely heavily on volunteers to come into their shop and help out with sorting of donations, serving customers, and maintaining the shop floor.
They are open from Monday-Friday 9.30-4.30 and any amount of time offered would be a blessing. They are mainly hoping for volunteers who can commit to regular hours, even if that is a few hours every fortnight. In saying that, they are looking for once off volunteers as well.
